Based on recent research on food allergies, recommendations to introduce solid foods at four months have been made, in conflict with WHO guidance.
There are also recommendations to offer formula in small quantities from birth to reduce the incidence of cow’s milk protein allergy, which is particularly confusing when compared with previous guidance.🤔

As a result, there are highly disparate and conflicting recommendations, creating confusion for those working in direct patient care.
