Log Files

EABM follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this. Log files are a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is to analyze trends, improve the website, track users’ movement on the website, and gather demographic information.

Your details are used if EABM needs to contact you for administrative matters.
The following is held by the EABM BOARD in their membership database, as entered on the membership application form and dashboard and in separate registration databases for events as entered on registration forms.

Names of individual persons when they apply for individual membership or register for events by EABM

Address of the office
Telephone number (if applicable)
e-mail address (where provided)
Date of joining
Status of payment

MD specialty registration number (where applicable)

EABM holds some of these details to verify the admission to the GA and the payment of dues for the members of the association. The email address is used to send the important information about membership and our activities. The Treasurer can export the details about your membership payments in an excel file for administrative purposes.
Your e-mail is used only to contact you on EABM matters, or provide services for which you have registered.
The new Policy gives you right of access to the details of the information held, to request correction of information and to request removal of some of the data.
